Ha. Well this particular one seems to be very well cared for with a full service history, a recent PPI and it’s a rust-free CA car, so I feel pretty good about it. If I didn’t already have too many german cars sitting in the driveway and private tuition to pay, I’d buy this one myself.

Given that the buy-it-now is 24.5k, it would take a real moron to pay 50k for it.

Yeah you’re right, I was thrown off because the tank and the seat look very much like the first-gen Ducati monsters, but that is definitely a twin spar aluminum frame now that I look at it on an actual computer. Maybe it’s the seat and tank from a Monster on the frame and engine of a previous-gen R1?

Too many comments to check through, but the Ducati Monster 796 would be a good choice. It has a very forgiving power band yet still has some grunt to it, it has great brakes, it’s very comfortable, and is still cool.
