One slight correction. Los Angeles is the greatest *city* in America, for cars or otherwise.

It is definitely a bit bigger, but it feels oh-so-right. I've only driven a 360 and a 458, so I don't know about the 430, but between those two, the 458 really doesn't feel so big, it actually has decent visibility as well for an exotic.

Personally, I'm partial to the F430 proportions over the 458,

Not true, you can still pick up an SC in good shape for that price. Now, the 964 and the 993 have long become too expensive, but the SCs are still within that range for actual sale prices.

I don't want to take too much credit, but I did vote for this. So, really, you're welcome.

The ATS remains one of the better sport sedans on the market, but sales have lagged behind its German rivals. I think that's a shame. It's a fine car.

Fun fact, it's also the only AMG version of a car to use a different structure underneath than the standard one as it has the front clip from a CLK I believe (hence the longer than usual hood).

New glass you say? Was it important from a war-torn territory before it was installed?

Ah ok, makes sense. As an aside, is there anything cooler than the vertical odometer on the early (maybe all?) Countachs?

a 1975 Lamborghini Countach sold for £953,500

Easy pickings? Dude went through airport security 35 times. This is for sure a very weird scam and one not really worth it at all - even if he didn't get caught.

To play devil's advocate, let's say they did indeed have a helicopter on standby at the top of the hill. What if one of the press up there had a heart complication and the helicopter was sent away, and then something happened, they they would have to have two helicopters on standby etc

At the end of the day, people aren't really willing to pay more for a burled walnut covered version of a Ford. What makes the Germans successful is that they started as luxury and then worked their way into the lower end of the market, not the other way around. So they will always maintain that brand association of

Nope. The A4 trounced the Accord and sales are down 37 percent compared to a month ago. The Accord was once the best selling midsizer in China and has now been as low as number nine. This comes after dealers were burned in territory disputes a couple of years ago, and while small car sales have rebounded, German

I think a big omission is the R107 (72-89) Mercedes SL. The earlier W113s have already skyrocketed in price and a good one can't be had for less than 30-40k. The 107 is still VERY affordable (a good one can easily be found under 6-7k), and it comes from the most indestructible era of MB.

They're offering a $500 reward for the recovery of the car.

I was on the fence until I saw this video, but now this is a definite NP. I mean you can fly AND threaten to chop off that motorcyclists head who banged your mirror while splitting lanes - that's a win/win.

Well, he may not want to sell it, but that's not our concern. What we want to know is whether, at his $5,800 price tag, anyone will be interested in buying it. He says low-ballers need not apply, which leaves out un-neutered dachshunds, but for the benefit of the rest of us, what do you think about this truck for that

Do we know if it is a 2+2 like the 911? If so, that could make 2015 a very amazing year for this benzaphile.

I never said it wasn't reliable, just that it's the cheapest feeling car I've ever owned or driven. I never had a problem with reliability, I had a problem with squeaks, rattles, plastics degrading, those sorts of things. And I only owned the car for the first 30k of its life.
