I would agree to a point. In large rural areas, where the local schools sit primarily in the center of the county, the buses will have to travel a large distance to pick up students. In my county, a majority of the buses are kept at the county school bus shop, as hardly any of the bus drivers are parking them at home…
Gas-powered buses are making a comeback at Blue Bird and are driving sales, while diesels have slumped a bit. IC and Thomas have yet to re-commit to gas. While they continue to embrace EV technology, Blue Bird continues to reach out to traditional customers.

My first school year was Blue Bird. Grades 2 9 were Superior Coach, and then back to Blue Bird for the reminder. Some of my friends were stuck on POS Thomas. They were considered the “poor stepchildren.”
Maine will have to do better and pass Alabama, Texas, Ohio, California and New Jerey to compete with Florida.

It’s funny that you mention this. My cousin bought a Ram 1500 about two years ago. I saw him just yesterday and he can’t open the dri9ver’s window. He had to open the door so we could speak. No Chrysler product for me.
