I was thinking the same thing. Nearly every 8 year old “I know what I have here” sale ad says something along the lines of “I owe more than I’m selling this for, my loss your gain” or some other dumb statement indicating a lien (loan).

The speaker on the original Echo is pretty decent. Not amazing, but good enough for most music. The speaker on the Dot is horrible, but it has a 3.5mm jack that you can use to connect it to a much better system.

I get what you’re saying here, but it’s a slippery slope. This primes a mindset that leads to everyone dressing like a slob and being inconsiderate to everyone else because “Well they don’t know who I am and I’ll never see them again, so why even try?” I know you’re not saying that it’s okay to be rude, but sometimes…

There’s a crossover where nice and comfortable meet, I aim for that. Then again, I’d rather be naked than seen in public wearing sweatpants.
