I view Snape as being like J. K. Simmons’ character in Whiplash. He’s hard on the kids because he’s challenging them to do better, to be better wizards, because they are going to need to be if they’re going to win. And he shows favoritism to the Slytherins so they don’t try so hard, and they end up with good grades

Not to get too political, but those lady jurors were Trump voters. I’m almost positive.

Mind blown on the update. (A) He made these comments before a jury of 11 women and 3 men. But today (B) they found him not guilty. I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

What? You mean this wasn’t a rule in the first place?!

I just read about this story in the Washington Post, and whaddya know, the comment section is full of idiot menz shouting “WHY DOES THIS ONLY GET ATTENTION WHEN IT’S GIRLS? WHAT ABOUT THE FORESKIN?”

And don’t get murdered. :D

*whispers* are you a murderino

Remember when we used to be mad at American Apparel ads?

I have a feeling the cheerleaders probably felt pretty pressures to hand over their phones regardless of not having a warrant bc 1) they are cops asking you to do a thing, 2) they are young, and 3) they may have been afraid of being kicked off the team if they didn’t cooperate.

Rumor has it the cheerleaders were also part of a pyramid scheme.

I am sorry, but no, it doesn’t even look scary.

Great news for once and exceptional reporting, thanks. I heard someone say the main problem with abortion rights is that it’s treated as a political issue rather than one of medical privacy. Every medical decision a woman makes is between she (Her? Self-grammar police here) and her doctor. This metric needs to change

Does this now set a precedent for others to do that same to him, or do the countless lawsuits against him count towards this?

Jensen Ackles is way prettier than Rob Lowe.

There is a better life.

They should have asked him for his SAG card in return.

hey man, I pulled the gun on mom jeans, and they are amaze

a secret fb page is a group by invitation; only members can see the content, or even that you participate. I am a member of several.. one is for my daughter’s dance team, one is pantsuit nation...

I’ve been active duty military for ten years (not the Marines). This was an incredibly depressing story to see break today, but what actually gives me some hope is the strong, emphatic push back online from some male Marines that this is not who the Corps should be. People with real influence are starting to speak out

I hate this question. It puts the interviewee in an almost impossible position. But it opens the way for you to ask what the worst thing about working there is :)
