How 'bout off-road-side?
A few years ago when I didn't have teh monies, I drove a '98 Subaru Outback with 260k miles. The front axles had been replaced once before back when my parents had owned it.
The one I've used most often is the old "jump the poles on the starter solenoid with the blade of a screwdriver" trick.
Another throttle cable story. I was hooning my rally car thru the Hoosier National Forest (about 2 hours from home) when I snapped the cable. Having lots of extra wiring for the lights I simply ripped out several feet and tied it to the carb then ran it outside the engine bay, pulled it around the hood pins and back…
But where will Manuel Transmission ride?
I don't understand what's going on with that BMW. There's very little countersteering going on. If your car suddenly veers off towards a median, wouldn't you... turn the friggin steering wheel the other direction?
More than 3 years! I started in Dec 2009 and left in Jan 2013. First 6 months I was an intern.
It's all Torchinsky's graphics. The man is a genius.
"Once you start watching, you won't be able to stop."
YES! I live in Charlotte and a common argument here is "Who is worse, NC or SC Drivers". This video solidifies my stance on the issue.
The biggest reason I might chose the F150 over something from GM, Dodge, Toyota or Nissan, is that it's the only one that offers a true extended cab with the backwards opening rear doors and no cab B-pillar. Having the mini-rear doors that are on the GMs, Dodge and Toyota just plain suck for fitting large items…
There isn't much that hasn't been hit by the ugly stick the last few years. Some got hit harder than others such as the UPS truck.
I like the classic look of the old truck, bedamned about the photo thing. It looks bright-eyed and eager. The new front end looks sullen and predatory at the same time. Ever read Dinotrux? Check it out on Amazon. I think your boy would like it.
They should try these again:
I hate the new design too. The slim, horizontal Oldsmobile headlights just don't fit on a vehicle this gargantuan and the slopping hood is just odd. I hate it when something that shouldn't look like a car adds car like elements.
ICON Bronco...
I'm driving this very car from New York to Bourbon County KY today @3pm to put its break in miles on it. If you want to see how it goes - @michael_prichinello on Instagram.
It needs a manual from an enthusiast standpoint. I drove one, it's a good box but for the money I'd rather go the Cayman route or even a Vette. I want to drive the car, it's about the experience not shaving fractions of a second. Now for comparison the 458 I drove is just fine with the paddles, it's so god damn fast…
