I'm the guy who suggested it. The reason is that I have 3 kids and like 3 pedals.

My then-girlfriend-now-wife's mom had a Town & Country of that vintage - that was the first minivan I ever...chirped the tires on.

A Minivan.

Data point: My wife's 2006 Odyssey transmission died at 110K

Dude, Bill, that's terrible (that no TV network was up for your awesome show idea).

In Florida, you can register a go-kart with a machine gun turret and nothing but a confederate flag for a license plate

It's not the engine's fault, it's our fault, as drivers.

That's the whole point - forget the screen and the nav on the thing.

I don't know about that

My car has progressive, dynamic weight reduction as a part of the oil system

"Are you sure it's just the fronts?" he asked when I walked over to see if I could help. His eyes said it all. He was heartbroken. He didn't know how he'd be able to go back to his family, knowing his AWD wagon had let him down.

Fun fact: Honda rolled out their car-based "SUV" as the Acura MDX first (2001), before the Pilot's existence was made public (2003) so they could see if people liked it / see if it worked without risking potential damage to the Honda brand.

Y'all should check out E83 BMW X3s. You could get them with 3 pedals, and 260 hp INLINE 6s, AWD, wagon body. If you unplug the transfer case actuator (easy to reach), the car becomes RWD, with no ABS or stability control (race mode!).
