I think this is honestly another problem resultant of Blizzard releasing a game with basically no story in it. Nothing that happens in Overwatch is cannon because it’s random heroes fighting random heroes with no context (inclusive of the fact that originally you could have six Pharas fighting six Pharas).

As someone with (what I think are) pretty well-adjusted, happy, and good kids, I can tell you sometimes teenagers are just moody AF, and aren’t interested in hearing what you have to say, so asking for permission to give them advice is a good way to not make them feel like you’re trying to control everything.

Parents, treat your child like an actual person. Don’t expect respect if you don’t give it.

For me it is mostly that I don’t really get it, and I can think it is a little eye-rolling when people who make their whole personality around their kinks, doesn’t matter if they are furries, into BDSM or something else. But I agree, they get way to much shit than they deserve.
