Right off the bat, this isn’t my era. I do like the look and color choice but for a fun toy, I would rather have a motorcycle. It’s way cheaper and can be used in the same weather as this car. Yes, you have to learn to ride but once you do that, I bet it’s more fun for the money than this.

At half that price, I might be a little interested. It’s a whale, but one that offers some mild thrills. But at his asking price, he can go fish or keep it forever . . . Nope.

Let’s see, where is that ND button? Oh, here it is.

Crack times

a 26 year-old land yacht for $22.5? these are indeed the end-times.

I want to see every Type-S in yellow

I was really hoping it would be a zero-cost option on the base trim, but I can see the internal machinations that wanted it separated from the manual-only Si

The upgraded interior is gonna be great for a certain subset of buyers — people who don’t necessarily need to show off luxury (it’s still a 30k car) but who want more comforts, amenities, and higher-quality interior touchpoints. Making it a liftback, too, adds a definite value proposition.

Management needs to up the pay scale if they expect proper spelling.

the original wheels and exhaust are included”

Look, you put a 327 in an old Nova that came with a straight six, you have probably added value to the car. Easy swap, factory offered it that way, it is an old car at the point where everything probably needed to be redone anyway.

Buick China offers something like 7 or 8 different models, some of which actually look pretty good. You are correct that the US ones are all just rebadged though. They could definitely be killed off in the US.

Sweet mother of god - Stellantis.

The odd Haiku-like structure of the rest of the ad is. however, a bit hard to follow.

My thinking exactly: I can stress-out my dishwasher or just do a little pre-work and it’ll keep running smoothly and for longer.

I always pre-rinse just because of this. I want my dishwasher to last as long as possible.

Open your dishwasher, take the bottom rack out and with a flashlight, look at the screen over the drain. Anything half the size or larger than that mesh (which may be quite small depending on the brand/model) is going to build up over time and impede the drain, if not block it and starve the pump. Grease buildup can

You laugh now but there’s a very real chance that whenever the next Nintendo system comes out we’re gonna be going through all this bullshit trying to buy one and I know I’m going to be very frustrated by that.

i don’t get it. if modern dishwashers have sensors to tell how dirty the dishes are, then why aren’t they “sensing” that the dishes have been pre-rinsed, and adjust the wash cycle to be shorter automatically?
