This joke’s a little outdated. While Baker is to blame for what happened to Mark Prior, he managed the Reds’ staff very well. In 2012, his rotation was so healthy that none of them missed a single start the entire season.

I don’t really think that’s a fair stereotype anymore. He did a good job managing the Reds young starting pitching when he was there.
