That’s what gets me. Why are they making it so hard to purchase a vehicle? I’m sure there is another Chevy dealer a town over. They act like they are the only one around.

You got it, Carvana and Carmax would’ve been out of business years ago if not for the sleazy dealerships. I can negotiate and get a better deal and yet I’ve considered buying cars from Carvana and Carmax just so we can drop the sleazy dance and just get to the transaction.
I bet you can do everything online if you’d like to pay MSRP w/10% interest.
I had the same issues both with buying my wife’s van as well as my car. An absolute refusal to give any pricing unless you came in person. Granted this was pre-pandemic but still frustrating dealing with a dozen different dealerships none of them would give a price, one of which I do a lot of company business through…
As an unofficial representative of the 20 states that don’t have front plates. Please don’t pre install the bracket on my car! Luckily one wasn’t installed on my car that was previously registered and purchased from one of the affront states. However, my wife’s van had one just carelessly screwed into the bumper…
I may have to stop reading your articles if you keep finding interesting vehicles not far from me. I’m in between the Element and the Rav4 and both are arguably affordable.
I live in the Midwest and deal with a lot of rust. I’m gonna need Tracy as well as Torch.
Ewwww! Just ewwwwww!!! Excuse me but my breakfast is having a hard time staying where it’s supposed to.
I was just telling someone at work this exact thing. All these “you should have x saved by” calculations are worthless. It doesn’t matter what you make, it matters what you spend.
Yep. We have both at work. The only thing the ProMaster really has going for it is the height of the cargo area. Great to work out of, horrible to drive and maintain.
Love Aging Wheels!
This is what entices me about it. My current job doesn’t have any upside if I get a Masters. But, they will pay for a good portion of it.
In the US in 2019 38,800 people lost their lives to car crashes vs. 238,000 who have died of COVID-19 so far this year.
Did you test a GTI with the LSD? Virtually no torque steer on mine and no front wheel burnouts either. It hooks and goes in a straight line without a fight.
Yep, the performance pack comes with the LSD and R brakes. I'll need to upgrade the clutch before adding too much more power though.
Well you got me there. My front wheels handle the power well but if/when I add more power we’ll have to see what happens.
The Sport trim came with push button start and keyless or whatever it's entry. Plus you can go auto lights with a cheap sensor/switch kit.
Yet another reason to get the GTI, Clark Plaid seats. Seriously though, I hunted down the Sport trim so I could get the performance and lighting packs and still retain the plaid.
My GTI with winter tires is awesome.
There is less of a price difference between the Autobahn GTI and a R. So maybe I could see it. I bought a 2 year old GTI Sport CPO and it was thousands more to get a R with the same mileage. Also, I’ve never driven a R so maybe that would change my mind, but I absolutely love my GTI.
