I'm not addressing anything but this part of your comment:
"Jarvis kind of needed to be white since his robotic-descendant will be played by Paul Bettany."

Yep, I'm totally with you. You have to maintain the artistic integrity of this type of project.
You're right. As Mad Men already established, Black and brown people were largely imaginary before the 60's.
Okay…?
I actually love The Lion in Winter, both versions: '68 with Katharine Hepburn, Peter O'Toole & Anthony Hopkins and '03 with Glenn Close, Patrick Stewart & Jonathan Rhys Meyers. So that was incredibly informative. I can appreciate the plot a little better (and honestly, have hope for improvement now). Thanks for that!
…apparently she did. (le sigh)
Lee Daniels is not a director known for his subtlety but still the scene with Jamal cross-dressing was a bit much. My friend and I decided to watch in tandem while giving a running commentary and when he came into the room with the scarf and heels, we knew his whole season-long plotline was going to be about as…
Ooooo, that is such a great realization. Thanks for that!
It did seem weird to me too. I've heard of fruit grafting but that seemed like a particularly bizarre cross. What would the texture of something like that be? And how about the size? With the Grāpple, is it infused with the "flavor" of a grape - a la Welch's or actual grape flavoring?
One of my older brothers was a Baltimore cop and he loved The Wire (and Homicide actually). First season, he was literally the only other person I knew who was watching it. Everybody else said it was too slow and they didn't have the patience for it.
Thanks!!
And the way Geneva looked at him, that relationship is doomed. He'll have plenty of reason when it all comes out to be gunning for Kalinda (although honestly, I don't believe that's the way she'll go. My bet is she's just going to vanish like she did from Canada.)
To me, that was the quote for "Stray Observations". Not to say Marissa's response wasn't great but Eli's rejoinder was the money.
I don't know if anyone addressed this up-thread but do we know if Peter in fact did intervene to delay Judge Cuesta?
That's all I kept thinking. They have the "Kindred", which was supposedly like their very own Horseman, why not have him wield the sword? It irritated me that they forgot that plotline. What was the point of creating that intriguing a possibility only to abandon it? And if he was supposedly only "single-serving" why…
Guessing: Central or Mountain, instead of Eastern?
When Abbie got stuck with "pick a sword" duty, I thought they were gonna pull an Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. So when all the swords turned into snakes, I immediately thought, "Oh No, Abbie picked the wrong sword! Quick Girl, duck and cover!"
I liked (and I'm being sarcastic) that Abbie automatically assumed that there was no sword instead of the arguably more obvious conclusion that she picked the wrong one.
Are you talking about the "Join or Die"? 'Cuz that's actually kinda hot!
You'll see it come to the forefront as the story progresses.
