I think you’d be surprised to find out how little car you can get for 2k anymore.
That’s why I said 2nd or 3rd favorite child. Obviously the favorite kid will get something a little more fun.
Colt Turbo Twin-Stick?
Funny story. Bear with me. Friends parents had one of these new. We used for flog the shit out of it in the snow it was a riot. So my buddy who owned it loved it, said it was like 300hp and called it the super wagon. Another buddy decided to burn him once. Submits an add to the local buy and sell magazine reading.
For $3,500, it would make a fine first car for your 2nd or 3rd favorite child when he or she turns 16. NP.
It fits. Now you know.
They are claiming that all of these wheels are worth over $1000 each?
I know i shouldn’t be, but i’m quietly impressed by these guys.
If they put these skills to something legal, they could probably get a job in laying on events or something.
Seems like someone needs to hire a secury guy. With that being said, I am not sure if this is done but perhaps adding a tag number to wheels would be a great idea.
Can’t believe they left all the lugs behind for those wheels!
“left... with their lugnuts strewn all over the ground”
Idk. I mostly see wheel locks on Japanese cars, not too often on American ones.
They couldn’t possibly have used the Penske box truck seen on the security camera.
48??? Damn...I’m glad if I can rotate my tires in under an hour.
Damn. We used to take only the valve caps.
$200,000 retail... probably $650 dealer cost.
What I’d give to see a time lapse of this going down.
Did the cars have wheel locks? The dealer I just bought a car from orders all of their cars from the factory with wheel locks (they had had theft issues in the past). You’d think this sort of thing would be standard practice at dealerships.
The real question is, how did they transport 192 cinder blocks anonymously??
