If you business model can’t sustain its self you shouldn’t be in business. Pay your employee’s. They know the court won't favor them because they know they are doing sketchy things. I've enjoyed a few cheap rides. But maybe uber just should exist

There’s no evidence that the cost to riders increasing would “kill the business”.
But when you get a job with benefits, you agree on those requirements beforehand. It’s a two-way street, and I’m sure most of the drivers affected here wouldn’t have much objection to agreeing to more requirements for greater rights and compensation.
If you can’t afford to be in business, get funding or scale back your operations until you can afford the expansion. End-running your “contractors” is an ethical blind-spot that Uber has had from day 1.
I love how Uber thinks that “new economy” equals “gaming the system”. Wal-mart has been doing this for decades by underpaying its employees and relying on the state to pick up the tab for things like health care...
I’d give this more than a star if I could.
To the drivers and Uber:
Dont worry, they are working on that part too....
You can’t say that for sure. Uber needs to generate press by any means possible so...maybe it will rape it passengers then drive off of a cliff due to it shame programming.
At least the autonomous car will not rape the passengers.
I find it stunning that these drivers don’t just all tell Uber to go fuck itself and stop driving en masse. For those doing it for side money, it’s not keeping them alive. For those doing it as their primary source of income, it’s long past time they start looking for a new job, especially with 5% unemployment.
You mean all this as a justification or an explanation?
yeah, it is quite funny actually. But in all honesty, fuck Uber. I have a feeling when they roll out their Autonomous vehicles in the following weeks it is going to become a freaking disaster. Hopefully no one gets hurt, but I have a feeling some people will end up dying.
That’s exactly what you are. You’re building this company just to be replaced and they aren’t shy about letting you know it.
On that last bit:
Uber drivers put Taxi drivers out of work: Uber Drivers say—Its the inevitable press of progress and time! They should have adapted!
Unless Hugh Heffner drives an Excalibur with velour interior.
I suspect that it wouldn’t be the first time someone got a hummer from Dennis Rodman.
I'd buy it for tits and giggles.
50k is actually not a bad price for a low mileage H1
