Yeah, maybe when CVTs can properly transfer 400+ hp and still be remotely affordable, that will inch a little closer to a true statement.
I don’t mind a giant bulky shift lever for an automatic because at this point the “clicks” are so distinct in feel I don’t need to look down to know what gear I’m in. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like I won’t have that ability with such a small dial.
