yeah. it had no chance of nomination because it was just album track with no country radio release, it had big press over CMA but that's it. now the thing is grammy screening committee decide it's not country and threw it off from list before vote and nomination committee.

the category was best country song(or performance), not the album or artist. as long as the song is fit in genre it can be nominated.
