That's a terrific article. Jalopnik should post it in full.

I don't follow the VLN closely, but this was the first race day and most teams have their new car's first outing for a season of endurance racing. Nobody really knows how they'll handle in a race situation.
Good lord. Video is up.
The worst rumor has been confirmed: Official site vln.de confirms that one spectator was pronounced dead at the medical center. Horrifying news.
Too late anyway. The race was blackflagged after 70 minutes when a Nismo GT-R crashed over a FIA fence at Flugplatz, driver is fine, but spectators were hurt. No further details so far. The Glickenhaus cars were running VERY well but were stopped after a few laps for being too loud.
There's also the first run of the VLN series at Nürburgring Nordschleife starting at 12 noon local. The first time the Glickenhaus SCG003's are running in anger.
Absolutely spot on. Even "overpriced" stuff like Marantz and Sansui provides great quality for a fraction of the price of similar new stuff. You want a solid-state receiver (i.e. no tube stuff) in good condition, ideally with a recent overhaul. Prepare to pay $100-$300, don't go for the hight-end collector stuff like…
Like many others, it took me about 5 seconds. The fact that you work for Google, most questions are about locations around SF and the last picture made me google "San Francisco brick circles" to learn about the underground cisterns. It took me about another minute, checking a few other sources to find out there ought…
I already posted this in the tips box once: I have the Gmail logout URL as a bookmark. Clicking this gets me to the log-in screen for Gmail, but it also serves as a log out (and a do-not-track me!) for all Google services, including Youtube. Not sure if you logged out the last time? Just middle-click the bookmark and…
Depends. I don't have many important files personally, the few things I work with are on Dropbox, so they are backed up more or less in real time.
Can someone say something about the difference between iDisplay and AirDisplay? I have the latter, which is $9.99 and I'm mostly happy with it.
Who's the fat hipster in the lumberjack shirt?
That wasn't all that easy this time, I have to say.
There's also lots of online options (like www.keepvid.com ) and offline freeware to download youtube content, without having to play it while downloading.
When I'm watching a video on Youtube, I'm already downloading a copy to my computer. Everything that appears on my screen is downloaded to my computer. I'm just moving it from one memory device (RAM) to another (HDD/SSD).
I did all that, except the Facebook linking because I don't like external apps having access to my account. There was a trick with Brazilian or Portuguese smart phones a few months back where you could use a website to spoof an IMEI number in order to receive a Dropbox coupon. I think I read about it in a lifehacker…
27.73GB with all of the above and a few other tricks and incentives. ;)
Instead of deleting the file, you could also download it, delete it on DB and then re-upload, just to be safe. Downloading takes some time, but upload should work in an instant, because Dropbox remembers the files and just restores them.
