I have to question the actual material cost of these things to be selling for this much. Are they listing them for absurd prices just to get the profit or are they judging if the tech is worth investing more into by seeing how many people want it badly enough to pay absurd amounts for it?

I wonder if anyone ever actually buys these things, or if everyone just sees them listing on ebay for absurd prices and decide their gunna get 10 thousand bucks for their sh** too. Maybe one or two rich hipsters buy one to screw with us.

Every year at Animazement they have an older rare 8 player bomberman game their arcade crew sets up. every year I make it a point to stop by the station and try to get at least one “win three rounds to win” victory. Probably too soon for a “next gen” but a “New Nintendo Switch Plus” seems more likely. I can’t imagine them doing 4K without reaaaalllly cheap terabyte SD cards with good loading speeds or a dock with an internal hard drive to load 4K files from when docked.

Personally the Switch doesn’t NEED 4k the same way I feel the Wii needed 1080P, especially considering the portability of the device. I suppose you can “monopolize” access to your own venue, but I have to agree with you. If you want to reach customers at a specific venue then you have to follow the rules of entry. All apple and Google did was create two more venues Epic could use to reach their customers with.
