Yeah, Samsung wants to have their own ecosystem but all they can do is piggyback on someone else’s and hope someone buys into their ecosystem. I bought a galaxy tab wifi, GT-P1010 when it first came out (and this is a froyo tablet), and most of the bloatware STILL TO THIS DAY says “Coming Soon!” when I click on it. If

Better than nothing as far as save backups go, would still prefer an external drive backup.

Was planning to get the moto z2 play but looks like it’s giving my dad trouble now that he’s had it a while. How does the 1+6's specs look compared to other brands and their prices? Any suggestions for specific phones that are relatively inexpensive but up to date on features? Mostly need 64-128 GB built in storage,

I take it if my system froze and did a database rebuild on power-up, then Im good to go for a while? Sound like it couldn’t hurt do do this every couple of months when a freeze didn’t cause it to rebuild.

I want a PS4 pro, but I really dont like the idea of spending the money on that and also being compelled to buy a 4K tv to get the most out of it. I think I’d rather just put my money down on the next generation console when it comes around. On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind having a second PS4 so I didn’t have to

I’ve been planning to buy the Switch version for some time. I keep seeing it go on sale on other platforms and I wind up holding off thinking the switch will get it on sale >_<

I kind of suspected the google one might be technically better, but my work had the Alexa dot 2nd gen on sale for 30 bucks on black friday. Though I have been tempted to get the google alternative, Im happy with the dot. Mostly I just use it as an alarm clock, timer, occasionally a calculator. Its amazing how useful

Ill give them credit for the copyright infringement, and I can maybe see him breaking a law for distributing it IF the download page made him acknowledge he wasn’t supposed to distribute it. However, Making free software available to those who can legally get it for free on their own if they knew how to, and asking

Wound up replacing a motherboard and processor a couple months ago, getting an SSD for the boot drive is probably the next step in my upgrade process. Wonder if I should look into this or hold out a bit longer. Im not particularly keen on the price, even if it is an all time low.

Anyone know a good cheap HDMI switcher to use with all these streaming devices? I’ve basically run out of ports and I could probably benefit from two 4 or 5 port switches, but some of them apparently dont play nice with one or more of my game consoles and have input delay.

Amazon hasn’t added support for their Echo Dot to work with Chromcast by chance? Has anyone developed a third party skill to connect the devices?

Although Im not fond of the material, at least these are more interesting than all the third party hard plastic peripherals for the wii that didn’t really do anything other than make it look like a tennis racket or a sword.

I like the specs, but Im not sure what to think about the risk that comes with crowdsourced projects.

Is that Jessica Fletcher singing in part of the GIF? I’d be on my way out the moment I saw her, too many dead bodies show up around her to be coincidence.

I think it’s all fancy talk for saying computers will be able to process far more information than they could before, and that this would be a significantly bigger leap than just making faster processors for our current technological platforms.

Im more interested in exploring quantum entanglement’s communication capabilities. Imagine plugging in a box at your house to a lan cable and having direct wireless internet to the ISP’s server, or phones that emit no radiation but get service everywhere. No more infrastructure wars, and you can get service from

Ive seen a couple bots that copy text from other readers and adds in advertisements and etc. One also loaded malware onto my PC when my mouse curser accidentally brushed over the link, without even clicking on it.

Nintendo really needs to fix this issue. They talk about how you should back up your games, particularly on other systems and say how their not-responsible-for-data-loss etc. But even on consoles that have it or added it in like the 3DS, they still do crap like block you from backing up your data on specific games. I keep a bunch of Knex parts around the house for making stands and other utilities. I have a ton of LEGO parts too, but I always find Knex more efficient for this stuff.
