I was going to make that point! It’s really PHMSA/ DOT that will make the regulation.

I’m fairly confident my family members are racist, not proud of them, but confident they are. Re-reading what I wrote, I could’ve been clearer on that.

I’m intrigued by your stating it “keeps it real.” I very rarely hear it used, and I work and live near plenty of black people. Usually it’s the racist family members that use it. It seems to be a word that should be relegated to academic use only.

The last time I heard it so much was the first couple minutes of

29 CFR requires it.

Considering the US has frozen their bank accounts many times, it seems very reasonable to ask for cash.

Black Dynamite, one of the best films ever.

The thread system Gawker users is flawed as there were no comments when I posted this... the whole pending approval system is meh. Bring back the star system! /rant. 😉

I don’t think friend means what you think it does.

At first I thought maybe he stopped because the van was too close to the hydrant, but then he admits that he’s a shit-head. LEO’s should be working towards public safety, not causing accidents. This young man is very lucky he had a dashcam.

You really confused me. I’m staring at my screen thinking “Did I comment already? I don’t remember even reading this article...” :P

The driver may have had their blinker on, but the knucklehead thought he could still get around her faster. The driver still shouldn’t be passing on the right as the reasonable driver was still trying to be courteous and get out of his way.

It would’ve been great if the pilot had to “detour” to Bumfuckistan due to technical issues and delayed them even more. Probably best I’m not a pilot.

I actually enjoyed how the myth was handled in Hercules. It seems to make a lot more sense than “a demi-god among us” or some other supernatural BS. And the movie was quite good too.

I can see the insurance company denying the claim because it’s an illegal car; fine, that’s what insurance companies do. But they shouldn’t have taken his premium in the first place either. When he gave them the VIN the first time it should’ve flagged in their system. The moment they gave the go-ahead on the vehicle

One of my favorite movies!

Thanks for putting a designer’s perspective on this. You’re absolutely right on the snow prone areas, had there been a snow event, many of these lights would be at capacity.

Not only did he underinsure it, the shipper was committing tax fraud. He should’ve been upfront with the buyer that he would be responsible for any import tax. That said, I understand UPS’s stance on not paying the insurance. Though the auctioning off of the motor and everything after that, that’s ate up.

And Michael Jackson too by the look of it.

I remember my parents had an ‘89 van (Astro?) and the seats could be made rear facing. I remember that being the awesomest as a 9 year old. Though we used to do that in the back of station wagons and pick-ups without seats too, so what the hell?
