@Archaotic: I was thinking the same exact thing. Not necessarily to be charitable, but to sell the more profitable GHIV and get a tax write-off. If they were being truly generous, they'd send at least a couple of GHIV's over there.

@DJComet: Better hurry as they're closing a bunch of stores soon.

@Nexus6: Same here, on my TI-85. I remember a teacher freaking out when she caught someone playing it, thinking it was a real dope log.

@Kirbysuperstar: I thought that too... Maybe there was another game you could do 8...

@Real Serious Assassin: I wanted to see MS's chart too. Especially when you consider the Windows side of it.

Solid advice, but I do want to point out payment history doesn't always carry any weight. I haven't carried a balance with my Target card since I've had it. They offered to upgrade to the Visa version. I figured "why not?" It was still somehow rejected, even with a perfect payment history for a few years now with

My mom had a 2600 when we were little. It was a treat to be allowed to play it, and I fondly remember playing super breakout and circus. Both paddle games, and probably the best games ever.

@d1rtfarm: You are correct, metal heads just don't get Emo. Though considering I thought it was a Sesame Street monster...

That is pretty cool. I've always enjoyed how Tux the Penguin is on half the signs in the store...

"Though does it make sense for anyone who buys a DS during the holidays? No, no it doesn't."

Madden '92 was the last decent Madden game ever... That said, a guy I work with was telling me they misspelled Favre's name on one small section of the game. Now how's that for awesome?

Sony seems to forget that maybe about 10- 25% of the PS2's sold were to replace defective units, and probably just as many were slim units replacing the fat PS2's. Not every console sold was necessarily a "new" user.

@philibuster: That's exactly what I was thinking.

I love it when Guillermo does the movie skits, I just wish I was awake to watch them still...

The article mentions sports games, which have the same or similar advertisements as the fields they represent. How big a stretch is it to assume that those playing these games also watch the televised games, or even attend live games? Where is the control for this?

@pinkbunnyslippers: CarFax only work if a claim is made somewhere, like police report or to your insurance agent. I had someone do a number on my car in a parking lot, but I didn't bother reporting it as there were no witnesses, and why should I pay a higher premium because some jerk who managed to hit my car twice

@sliderule: Could've been an honest mistake, if that's where your logic was going. But as a side note, the Buick logo is three ties as Buick was the brand of the Middle class. Ties were a sign of the middle class long ago...

There was a pretty good documentary on the electric cars sold in California. I think it was Who killed the Electric Car, or something like that. GM had a fairly great battery that would seem to do the job quite well, but they then sold it to an oil company, don't recall which one. I'm sure the flick was a couple of

This little tool was even cooler than Jack Horkheimer! (No offense to Jack)

It seems to me that the people who really want folders don't realize the archive button cleans up your inbox. If you want folder/ label "porn," just click the "porn" label. It couldn't be any simpler. If you want to subdivide, you could add more labels, like "blonde" or "red."
