no the people who vote for Sinn Fein know they dont go to Westminster , they are not going to change that now now. The whole idea is they want Ireland to be United and free and are trying to remove power from London not give it any more.

ok let me be clear, its a terrible election for women and gay people, Muslims and minorities and the people of northern Ireland. As the Westminster government will now have the DUP in power.

yea we are really getting off track here, but again you refer to them as Irish , they would not be Irish as they don’t have Irish citizenship (they are entitled to it under the good Friday agreement, but i doubt too many in the DUP have taken it), they would be British as they would carry British citizenship so see…

what does that mean ? the “most people” i was talking about where the people of Northern Ireland who now most likely wont have a government running their country (this could be a return to direct rule by Westminster).

If the DUP where smart they would vote pro EU, Northern Ireland counts on tons of EU funds to keep the country going . And a hard border with teh Republic would be terrible for them as they count on a ton of exports with the Republic. Yet the DUP are more likely to cut their nose off to save face and watch it all burn…

well basically the Tories getting more seats would be bad over all , but the DUP being in government, pretty much means one of the country of the UK have very little chance of getting a government now.
