Hollywood is changing movie bad guys from Chinese to Korean(Red Dawn) and adding extra Chinese bits into movies (transformers, looper).

yea it could still be around in post TOS time, but whats the point in sitting it during a time we kinda know like the movie era. it means they cant get any new uniforms or phasers etc. As we know what the designs of those are like right up to TNG.

to be fair seeing how it looks like a rush render, of a design that has been in star trek lore for years. I think they have not put alot of thought into it yet. I mean all they have to do is ring up Doug Drexler, and it would be shorted out in about 10 mins.

yea your right , but my hope is we get to see more of non starfleet view of things. Like if they are fighting the klingons again , i want to see things from the klingons point of view too.

Enterprise (nx-01) was the first intergalactic exploration ship. i know people where not big fans of it. but if we are going to use the prime universe lets not just forget stuff that happens.

the look alone says it cant be after TOS, as we know what movie era ships look like . I mean it would be pissing on years of star trek ship designs if it did that.
