yea but if you read the book its not really a tv series set on a spaceship, its really not like say galaxey quest. Basically its the most meta thing ever ! . And i dont see how they could do it open ended as it would be just a one joke show.

over the top tight uniforms are one thing , but skirts are another IMO. Even today in police forces and military around the world offer skirt versions to their female members which i think is only right(as long as the option is there for pants too).

i mean i dont see how a multi species union of Terrans (Humans) Vulcans, Andorians and Tellarites would be stop a women from being a captain.
