I agree, this is not normal and it’s not right.  But people hold up the hitler argument because it appeals to an inherent emotional reaction for the fact that he killed millions.  We’re nowhere close to that, and we deserve to be able to discuss this shit without using the hitler argument.  It accomplishes nothing.
