Seriously. There’s no reason to play the anthem at any sporting event that isn’t international. The Olympics or World Cup? That’s fine but not for a domestic sporting event. Honestly, that wretched song shouldn’t even be the national anthem.

The simple answer (for everyone) might just be to not play the anthem at sporting events, like it was in this country before 2008. Also, the “military” should not be supporting (monies) American sports in any manner whatsoever, as it tends to blur the line between our police forces and our soldiers-at-arms.

Remember, calling a white person racist (even if everything they do is racist) is the worst speech offense you can commit. Donald Trump can call Mexicans rapists, he can tell people that only Jews should count money, he can be sued for racial discrimination against black people, and he’ll still be elected president.
