@j. cruel: Gross is in the eye of the beholder. Regardless, I wasn't referring to color or material but fit. Both are made the same way and worn the same way....legs attached to a panty.

@FelineFraulein: Obviously the legs of the two are different. But the fact remains that pantyhose and tights both fit the same way, i.e., with a "panty" part on top.

I always laugh at women who say "I would never wear pantyhose! Ugh!" . . . . and then put on tights.

@lethalpaine: I've never thought of it in those terms, but I have to agree. It makes even more sense to me because I've been accused of 'acting like a man' when it comes to sex, and that doesn't refer to positions or sex acts but to attitude.

@Moscowinthesummertime: I've never been able to take advantage of that kind of thing. I'm a little OCD about sharing clothes and shoes. I have a very 'don't touch my stuff!' attitude.

As someone who dates men and women, I respectfully disagree. Dating women is a lot more complicated than dating men.
