@DinaRonson : Elizabeth Cady Stanton: I don't think bodily functions are 'repulsive' but I do prefer to take care of them without talking about a work project due or the weather outside or the temperature inside the office or someone's kids.

I hate it when women talk to me in the bathroom. Especially coworkers.

@cstar: Me, too. I would gladly use a vacation/personal day to take part.

A group effort to block them from being anywhere near the site of the funeral would work. Another group did the same thing at a serviceman's funeral a month or so ago. The whole town came out en masse and lined the streets until there was nowhere for Westboro to be except far, far away.

Hey, it's accounting. ACCOUNTING. What else could he do to keep the student's attention?

@RenoMartini: I knew Barbara was crushing on Oprah!

I cry when people ask me if I'm gay, too.

My eyebrows are that pale, so I pencil them in so I can actually see them.

I celebrate a no-divorce day every day.

@AynBeaDavisAsMalice: I've never seen the show, so I don't know anything about specific incidents.

I may not be a smart man, but I know if you let (ask for) cameras to follow you around 24/7, your personal shit will get on camera.

@pearlsdream: I guess I'm still not seeing the problem. CGI is obviously fake. I don't even know why he'd need to buy estate rights to do that, it's just a form of animation.

@Tirannie: I'm old enough to have seen Steve Martin back in his standup days. He's gold.

This is not such a terrible idea.

Now I understand what a bush hog does.

Um....no.

@etcerica: My mom is one of ten kids, from an era when big families were more normal. Talk to my oldest aunts and you hear the same thing. We raised the younger ones.

@xpenley: I'm sure they believe it teaches responsibility and compassion, just like some parents believe 'spare the rod, spoil the child.' Sometimes, our beliefs are just wrong.

I have an on-going discussion/argument with a coworker who is an advocate of that 'quiver full' movement. She only has four children at the moment, but she's never used any form of birth control and is extremely disappointed she doesn't have more. A lot more.
