That sucks. Good luck man.

How about the EVO 3D?

Well, for free I'll give it a shot. Thanks Giz.

I think if my friends kept using that feature to keep my pictures from being posted on my social network of choice (G+ at this time), they wouldn't be my friends for too long (or I'd stop sharing those photos with them).

Having owned multiple ThinkPads, netbooks, and a MacBook Air, I totally understand what you're saying. The MacBook is the only device I have where I'm not scrambling for a mouse to use. It's a pity Windows is nowhere near as good with its pointing devices and lack of gestures. Very sad.

I realize that, but it does keep those tagged photos from being seen by people who have access to your profile, which is better than nothing. The other alternative is to deactivate facebook altogether, but even that doesn't prevent people from uploading photos of you if they really want to.

The point is to make it so your other facebook friends (or the public, if your profile is wide open) can't see those photos on your wall.

Great questions indeed. I'm hoping it will be an improvement over the existing ultrabooks so far.

Maybe, but that's how pop culture works. Good luck trying to get people to say that these types of computers are Sony Vaio copycats. It's just not gonna happen, no matter how unfair we think that may be.

Yes, you may want to peruse through your privacy settings periodically. Stuff like this appears (or disappears) with no announcement, and it's infuriating. I've pretty much abandoned FB for G+ because of this.

I'm sure they existed, but they weren't hugely popular like the MBA.

I just set my privacy options so than only I can see photos of me tagged by others. [www.chasingeyes.com]

...bigger?

I agree. I'll trade a few millimeters of thickness for a bigger battery. Lighter yes, making it thin as a sheet of paper, no thanks.

I think it's just the light refracting on the metal lid.

Sure you can. Look at the ThinkPad X1 and Lenovo ultrabooks. It's possible to make a thin laptop without the wedge shape.

What happened to the social networking site for beautiful people? These types of facebook users should migrate there.

I wouldn't mind investing the money to build it. Maybe some cool technology will trickle down to non-military products because of it. And at the minimum, at least it's one of those things we can spend our money on that WON'T be outsourced (for now, that is).
