Well, very few things get created in a vacuum. Everything we do and see is probably inspired by someone or something else, we just put our own spin on it to hopefully make it better and unique. There's nothing wrong with that, and the more advanced technology becomes the more difficult it is to try to come up with

That movie wasn't very memorable. I haven't seen too many movies this year that were unforgettable. Maybe I'm just getting old, but it seems they just don't make movies like they used to IMO.
