The whole bashing everything but STEM that seems to pop up in Lifehacker articles whenever this topic arises comes across so arrogant. Yes, we get it: you all think coding, mathematics and science are the only worthwhile degrees because they will likely make the most money afterwards. We used to say the same thing…

I always find it so ridiculous that people look at college solely as a means to increase your potential future earnings. College is about more than just the degree they hand you at the end of the program. Is it right for everyone? Absolutely not. But, it is an important of MANY people becoming adults.
