The way I read that scene between Jane and the interior designer is that when she got up close to smell him, she realized it wasn't him. Even though she thought it was him at first (the same back of the head, the same way he poured the drink), when she smelled him she knew he wasn't the guy and that's when she got

I'm so glad to see this show being discussed!  It was a fun summer show and I really enjoyed it.  And I'm a sucker for cooking competition shows, so it had that going for it.

When they first arrived at the hotel, I noticed it said "Doubletree" outside.  Whether they actually filmed there though, who knows.  And yes, that penthouse was amazing!

I have this fear that Matty will be one of the returning players next season. No thanks. His Jesus talk is annoying and I'll be happy if I never have to hear that soundbite of him saying that "God was literally carrying" him. Ugh.
