Man, all respect to the voice actors, but it’s so close to the MCU aesthetic that them NOT being Chris Evans/Hemsworth, RDJ, etc throws me off. Doesn’t help that the characters themselves look like the Marvel’s Avengers On Ice versions, or that Cap apparently thinks he’s in a Call of Duty game, based on his outfit.

Captain Scarlett is fun but non-essential, and Torgue is 100% skippable if you don’t enjoy it. Tiny Tina, on the other hand, is legitimately major character development for a bunch of the cast and should not be missed.

Out-pedanted! NOOOOOOOOO!

Not to be pedantic, but wouldn’t this actually take place directly after Pre-Sequel, given that Athena was captured by Brick and Mordecai during the course of Tales?

It’s all fictional, so it can be whatever Aunuma wants it to be. Ganon can be the hero if he wants! (And Kelly Turnbull has written a fantastic Ganon who, if he’s not a hero, at least isn’t particularly villainous.)

I was about to point that out, but at the same time it seemed like he really regretted the confusion caused by him not nipping that particular rumor in the bud right away. So if anything, you’d think he’d want to unambivalently shut this new speculation down because of that.

That would definitely be cool, but assuming they actually play differently, I think I’d rather is just focus on Zelda - I played and loved BotW, and if I want to play as Link, I can always go back to that. It’s not like there isn’t still more for me to do in it, after all.

Man, I’m hoping he’s refusing to answer because he wants it to be a secret and not because he doesn’t want to disappoint fans and undermine the positive feeling it’s got right now.

The Blood Angels Assault Marine Funkopop is wearing Corvus, or at least a Corvus helmet.

Man, I am glad to see they moved the sword and shield to dedicated controls. I started playing the 3DS version of it a while back, and having to swap out that kind of basic functionality to use something for a puzzle or whatever was more irritating than anything. Limitations of its Game Boy origins, I know, but this

True, but she also burned through most of her magic in the climax of BotW, so it makes sense she’d be down to a PC level.

All we need is Borderlands 3 crossplay and I’m a happy boy.

Lord, I still remember the hoops I had to jump through last time I tried to replay System Shock 2....

Maybe it speaks to how deeply the MCU versions have penetrated my consciousness, but as cool as the game looks, every time one of the Avengers opened their mouths it took me right out. The voices just don’t work for me.

I just want to know if I can recruit exclusively white-haired retirees for my elite hacker collective, because that pic of Granny tasing a guard sold me on the game.

They are, canonically, set in the same universe.

Liberation definitely runs up hard against the constraints of originally being a Vita game, but I think the story and characters more than make up for it.

Impossible. Everyone knows Zelda is the boy.

Amen.
