My point was that all the Emperor’s arguments were below college freshman level. And the priest’s arguments weren’t much better. It doesn’t help that it’s not actually a good-faith discussion, since both characters are ACTUALLY talking about different things.

Sure, a 40k anthology series would work. I just think the Heresy works better once you know how it ends.

Tim, since you wouldn’t say anything bad about Celeste, I’ll say something. The chase at the end of the hotel level was too long and needed to be trimmed by about 25%. Aside from that, perfect game.

I think Horus Heresy would be a terrible place to start, and any kind of mass market series needs to be thought of as a place to bring in new fans.

Fair enough. Either way, Minsc is with you from the get-go, while Sarevok is a ToB party member. So for most of the game, not having Sarevok isn’t a disadvantage, since you CAN’T have him yet.

Sarevok can turn Good eventually if you go through his whole redemption arc. And who needs Korgan when you’ve got Minsk and his 18/00 Strength?

Awesome! Seems like it was well worth the wait! I will admit I’m a tiny bit disappointed she doesn’t come with rocket accessories to have coming out of her shoulders, but ah well.

Sure, but Community actually had some pretty good action scenes for a sitcom.

I’m glad someone else made this point so I don’t have to.

I’m still frustrated that it’s looking like we’re never getting the Bravely Default collaboration that Japanese players got.

Hawaiian pizza is amazing, even from Papa Johns, and I don’t want to hear any arguments about it.

Over on the AVClub, someone pointed out that there’s a ton of unfiled messages in the mailroom for a place that hasn’t had a new arrival for 500+ years. Maybe something’s happened to the Good Place staff?

I really cannot gush over how amazing a job D’arcy Carden did. Even before putting everyone back in their clothes, you could tell exactly who was who just from body language.

Or European devs - like Spiders who’ve done some weird but good stuff like Bound by Flame (I still get a kick out of some random NPC, concerned that my character had sprouted, horns warning her that the more the demon got control the less of my main character there was - lady, I like this demon infinitely more than

They couldn’t fit another year of Amazon Prime into the budget, so no more free shipping, sadly.

So because humorless internet nerds obsess over stupid things, normal people can’t have fun winks and nods?

Because James Wan directed it? It’s just supposed to be a fun Easter egg, a reference to another movie in his filmography.

To be fair, in one episode of Flash, someone (I want to say like the second or third Wells?) pointed out that, to him, his world was Earth-1 and theirs was, like, Earth-3 or something, but he decided to be polite about it.

I kind of figure any kind of serious investigation would probably lead to Potter’s doorstep eventually - like the SNL sketch about the ‘lost ending’ to the movie.

I don’t know if your math is accurate, but your overall analysis feels spot-on. If all the big name games are gone from Steam - and it really seems like a matter of time at this point - what’s left?
