And joke is you're not here to enjoy it.
And joke is you're not here to enjoy it.
I was very amused when you could see the John Hancock building, the Water Tower, the Smurfit-Stone (a.k.a the vagina) building, AND the Sears tower in the same shot from the office Peter was in.
Nope, Scottsdale is the place where frustrated old rich white dudes go to golf and eat steak. No thank you.

"We don't serve their kind here."
"I didn't know our county was bi. Good for us."
There's a sharp difference between an offensive name like the "Redskins" and references to actual tribes that used to have land here. I don't see the Blackhawks going away any time soon, for example. It's not about just referencing Native Americans.
No highlight for "Ow, My Face"??
"It was like a religious experience." Perfectly timed.
Have you not heard? They're teasing us now with a new movie: http://io9.com/a-farscape-m…
I'm still holding out for "famous" webcomic artists to do a guest story: KC Green, Andrew Hussie, etc,…maybe Shmorky? Anyone else come to mind?
*waves hand over head and makes a whooshing noise*
Really? The role-play scenes?? I posted this in the episode comment thread, but that scene was awful. I'd never seen the show before and it damn near turned me off from watching any more of it.
Shame on me for not clicking the link and shame on Sam for reporting a stray Tumblr post as a column, then.
I agree, the old T&BB is a much funnier version. What surprises me is that we're so far into the Garfield rabbit hole, people are redoing the same Garfield ideas and web-savvy (?) reporters like Sam here think the idea is new.
Fair enough. I'm just deciding whether it's worth it to put that time into watching the show considering this episode which I thought was unrealistic and dull. More to the point, I'm trying to find out: is the whole series like this? I always enjoy hearing people passionately describe what they like about a show.
"Twitch Plays Pokémon operated in that chaotic state for its first week or so, making unsurprisingly little progress along the way, before the anonymous programmer who created it (referred to as The Creator) instituted 'Democracy Mode.' "
I caught the latter half of this episode, and it was my first introduction to the show. I was kind of surprised at the acclaim for this show, because I what I saw just looked like "Sex and the City: Hipster Edition". Am I missing something? Or am I lacking some serious context of what I saw in this episode?
Your ability to explain a joke has no bearing on the quality of the joke.
"But this was a contest for children!"
Also the Trojan Horse ain't in the Iliad.
