To pick a nit, the U.S. military is not particularly interested in creating more B83 bombs, except possibly to replace current ones 1:1. Sure, 1.2 Mt sounds real scary, but they’re just not worth it. We built the B83 and other multi-megaton warheads back when the thinking was bigger = better.
