Unless there is an accident or a bad snow storm, there is no such thing as “huge traffic congestion” in Milwaukee. Traffic in Milwaukee means an additional 10-15 minutes in someone’s commute from the western suburbs.

What’s wrong with residents taking the bus?

First, you can’t make a food desert worse. It’s already at its lowest point, and that’s because it’s a crime-ridden part of town where no one wants to open a business. Even if it wasn’t, we don’t put a full grocery store in every neighborhood in the city. The people who live in $1M condos on the east side also can’t

I live 1 county to the north of Milwaukee county. I’ve worked just south the area where this proposed freeway expansion is. I feel bad for the residents there, but they knew what they were buying into. There is a huge traffic congestion here every day if you catch it at the wrong time. Pretty much everyone in this stat

Better yet, some planes fly with more fuel than they took off with.

Another thing to consider is the consumption of fuel. Because a jet engine burns jet fuel, it loses that 160,000 kg over the course of a flight, effectively becoming more efficient as it flies. The weight of batteries never leaves the plane.

Which is why I switched from Blizzaks to Hakkas.  The Hakka R3s are amazing in the cold stuff and in the rain.

Good tires are worth the extra money.

If you made a long list of bad places to try to save money, tires would be near the top of the list. Those savings would go away really fast when you had to pay the out of pocket deductible on your collision claim, then go well into the negative with the depreciation on your wrecked car.

I mean.... did you really expect a tire that costs half as much as the cross climates to be anywhere near its performance?

CrossClimate are all weather tires, not dedicated winter tires. They’re a winterized summer tire. I stopped using Blizzaks because they’re slick as hell in the wet once temps rise a  big ice freezing.

You know, I’m pretty liberal, but I don’t disagree with you. What makes Musk any worse than the other mega rich assholes out there? Sure he’s a cunt, but so are a whole pile of influential people that the general public chooses to ignore. Before anyone comes in with “but he allows nazis”, so does Zuckerberg, as do the

Lol, like so many sites that have turned to garbage, Jalopnik is following the same formula to force inject trashy, skewed politics into the audience that would largely prefer to focus on the original interests - automotive news.

And then some wealthy man-child can buy the other platforms and transform them into democracy-crushing scum, rinse and repeat?

As a supporter of Buddhism, how many folks do you think would lose their shit if I started wearing a Buddhist swastika T-shirt? 😂😂

“still engaging on Twitter as appropriate.”

Jalopnik is a great site and will be even better if you stay out of partisan politics!

All the non-Tesla charging in Canada is pretty crappy, at least in Ontario. Electrify Canada never delivers close to the advertised charging speeds, and in one case stranded me in freezing weather. The FLO chargers are more reliable, but they all seem to be 50 kw only. Measurement Canada, or whichever government

I don’t think we will see a big drop for Tesla until there is a generation 2 of most of these vehicles. Many of them have more limited range, terrible software, and problems that the media does not bother reporting like the 12v batteries in the eGMP platform dying and high voltage connectors on the Mustang MachE and

I don’t know the charging infrastructure in Canada but Tesla is so far ahead in the US with the supercharger network that the competition is pitiful.
