As soon as I read your comment I knew you were an asshole. What makes stealerships unethical is explained very clearly in this article, but you choose to ignore all that in favor of the “capitalism good” bullshit and blaming the people getting ripped off for being ripped off. Wanna be rich dickhead

Dealerships exist to benefit dealers? Of course! It’s a business, not a public service.

Bought a used car at a local place similar to a Carmax once, the price had dropped due to it sitting for a bit so it wasn’t an egregious premium over other dealers, and it was just so damn easy. After the test drive and them doing the trade-in evaluation it was maybe 30 minutes to go over and sign everything. It is

And RV dealerships are almost literally hell on earth.

Car dealerships are bad. Motorcycle/ATV dealerships are worse.

When you negotiate a deal under MSRP, are you a thief? Of course not, so why is the vendor a “stealership” for charging what they can?

Used vehicles are plentiful in my area. Peddlers of used vehicles are not short of inventory. I suspect we are at top of demand curve. New vehicle dealers still don’t have much if anything new sitting on the lot.

To be fair, nothing he said is abjectly wrong. The Chinese government is a kleptocratic mess, and the American energy grid is overdue for substantial solar-ification. I don’t agree with xenophobia, but let’s not pretend like the Chinese government operates in a perfectly moral or just way either.

uv with 500-1000 mile range”

That is the issue I have with most EV’s. They are so concerned with having amazing 0-60 times when the focus should be on getting the most mileage per KWH. Because what the world needs is more idiots doing dumb things on public roads.

What in the word is the point of designing something completely and totally unrelated to anything that could ever be put on the road in any form? This is like asking an architect to design you a house and they give you back a pineapply with a tiny HVAC system installed in it. What... what is this for?

Looks like Lincoln saw what Cadillac did and rushed some half-assed, utterly unrealistic 3D video-game looking concept out the door. This has has absolutely zero chance of getting remotely close to production. Meanwhile Cadillac already had a prototype driving around the Warren design complex with production plans

which dart? the 70's when they put a hemi in everything or 2016 when they put a hemi in everything?

You’re absolutely right, but when was dodge not a gimmick brand?

Their customers see the V8 sound as a must-have feature, though.

Go on any message board dedicated to an American V8 coupe (basically, Challenger, Camaro Mustang) and the number one thing you’ll see the folks in there bitch about with respect to EVs is that Joe Biden is going to come to their house and force them to

Fake ICE noises are what you need when you’re trying to wean people off of what they’ve grown accustomed to. There’s probably already legions of geriatric muscle car buyers who have crossed Mopar off their list because EVs are "woke." This noise is there to convince those who haven't overreacted to stick around and

You’re absolutely right, but when was dodge not a gimmick brand?

It’s a cool gimmick, but a gimmick nonetheless. I wish they’d just embrace their new EV identity. If Dodge wants V8 sounds, then they should keep making V8 coupes and sedans.

Very true, and they always seem to be revving their engine while sitting at a stop light. Why? Are they thinking it will suddenly die if they don’t rev it up every 5 seconds?

Can’t tell if trolling, or if these were just the only engines you could name...
