Maintenance costs? I had my first service done on my Tesla. A Biennial service. The only regular scheduled service. Change the two cabin air filters. $58. Parts and labor. And they came to my home to do it. Oh, and my car was purchased for $39,990.

I have a dream, where all cars will be judged by the content of their character and not their means of propulsion.

I said “Most”. I stand by that.

“Car insurance is a product you are forced to buy...”.

We all make choices in life.

Most people will do that. You seem to think that would be an exception.

What caused the load to shift was the driver neglecting to properly secure it. And/or excessive speed through a turn. Very simple.

2015 Tesla? that is the penalty for being an early adopter. I was an early adopter for the first half of my life. I finally broke that habit and am happier for it

As a former Ford truck sales person (three decades), and a current Tesla owner I can state this with some credibility. Pickup trucks are not well suited as EVs. For a host of reasons. This has been borne out by poor sales and mediocre reviews from owners. Maybe in the future as storage tech improves.

Well duh! I’ve been saying this for decades. The exhaust emissions are measured in parts per million instead of parts per mile.

I have a gun. Why would I be paranoid?

I have a mini vault in the trunk of my car tethered to the car seat “LATCH” hooks. That is where it stays when it is not in my possession.

#8 Replaced his brakes.

I sold cars for more than three decades. My experience with Tesla was refreshing. Start to finish on-line including going out to my trade to take pictures, upload them and wait for an answer. Less than 30 minutes.

The world’s dumbest Mayor is in Milwaukee. His proposal for reducing speeding and reckless driving on residential streets is to reduce the speed limit from 25 MPH to 20 MPH. I’m sure that will work.

Simple solution. Always, always make eye contact with the driver before stepping off. First and foremost, you are responsible for your own safety.

They are great at taking that early morning chill out.

Um, I think you should keep your eyes forward and hands on the wheel at all times no matter what. For me, these aids just remove the mundane task of keeping the car in the lane. That frees up my attention to focus on my surroundings. I pretty much only use them cruising on the interstates but I love them.

Interesting headline. Does that 80% include children under 12?

So a Ferrari, A Lamborghini and camper van walk into a bar...
