Um, I paid $39,990 for my Model 3 last year. With newly introduced price reductions you can buy one for about the same price today.

Why is this news? New and used car prices and demand are plummeting for all makes and models.

As an extremely happy EV owner I can say with confidence EVs are not for everyone. Duh.

5,732 lbs.? Yikes! My 2021 Tesla model 3 SR+ is 3,616 lbs. Not nearly as impressive 0-60 (5.2 seconds), a top speed of “only” 140 MPH and a slightly shorter range at 265 miles but with more than a ton less weight and 47%/53% F/R weight distribution it is definitely nimble by comparison. Fun to drive.

The area is a food desert and has been for some time. The problem is crime. Who would want to open a store in the area when they would be robbed blind. And there are little or no consequences for the criminals. This is happening in big cities all over America. Beware of what you wish for.

Buick is going all upscale EV. The combo dealers are told they can keep the franchise or not. One of my clients has an auto group including a Buick/Chevy store in a rural area. They opted to drop it as that is not their market. They sell a lot of trucks.

It may be that the “Goodride” is not such a terrible brand. The problem is this. I’ve owned a lot of cars in 51 years of driving. On every new one that I have owned the OEM tires were crap. Regardless of brand. Low bidder after all.On a couple of cars I swapped them out within the first year they were that bad.

Had them. Nothing else compares.

Spend a little more. Get something nice. You’ll never be disappointed.
