$700 million? That sounds cheap. For that ship.

Hardly a day goes by. It is their mission. Envy? SMH.
Oh the horror! Tesla removed a feature that no other car has. Not even My Q50 with DAS. I’m sure millions will die a horrible death.
I was just messing with you. Most of the power around here comes from clean coal and natural gas. A smattering of windmills.
Nuclear power. Yours?
This! And I believe Norway can be a cold place. With temps here where I am hovering near 0°F it is wonderful to simply schedule my departure and have the battery and cabin preconditioned when I go. Without burning gas and harming my ICE by long idle time in cold weather.
Or you could just pay $199 and try it out for a month. I own an M3 SR+ and I am mystified that people that would spend 1/4 of the price of the car for a feature without trying it out first.
No way. It would not be a good value at that price if it was on the showroom still in the wrapper.
MY 2021 Model 3 SR+ was $39,900 when I ordered it last June. They have gone up since but that number was exactly the median price of a new vehicle at that time. I guess that makes me seem like Bill Gates to my neighbors.
He was referring to the acoustic glass in the windshield and front door windows. A different type of lamination.
Yes, the weight (or lack of) is surprising. My 2021 M3 SR+ had a shipping weight of 3616 lbs. with a 47%/53% F/R weight distribution. Definitely a drivers car. Heck, my wife’s 2012 Mercedes SLK 350 is a tad over 3400 lbs. And don’t forget the 4 pot fixed caliper front brakes. On the entry level Tesla. While I’m at it,…
I agree with you 100% on all points. The Tesla is worth the price for the seats alone. I’ve thought of buying another one just to take out the seats and put them in my living room. I think the hate springs from envy.
You can put lipstick on a pig. It is still a pig.
Almost no runways handling transport planes are that short. The shortest runway I ever flew commercial in and out of was in Key West. 4500 feet. In a B737-200 no less. That would be considered snug for many Lear Jets for example.
A lot of speed cameras help enforce that. They allow only a 5 kmh leeway. And the fines are stiff.
Big cultural differences. Like the “travel right” concept lost on Americans. It is ingrained. Anything else is just not done in Germany.
Sure, like get rid of cops and replace them with social workers?
I went to a three day seminar on edged weapon defense hosted by Tom Sipin. Many people in the martial arts community will recognize the name. The first thing he said is you will get cut. Most of the first day was spent on techniques to minimize the damage.
“Fucker Carlson”.
Um, how did the “native Americans” get here? Just asking for a friend.
