There is still a federal tax credit of 30% on home charger installations. It helps to soften the blow.
About 4-5 miles of range per hour of charging at 120V 12 amp. Or about 1.44 Kw. Not very much. I have a 240V 32 amp (7.7 Kw) level II charger in my garage. I get about 28 miles of range per hour. Easily fill it up overnight on TOU rates.
C7 Corvette convertible. Rental from Tampa airport. Had it for a week while staying in Sarasota about five years ago. Not only was a ball to drive but it returned an astonishing 24.5 MPG. Actually measured. Not trip computer.
Well, Florida. ;-) Who is their biggest market. Hint, demographic. Those dealers will be coming around to the reality soon.
Car smuggling? Into Mexico? No way Jose.
Those OEM wheel were one-offs. Required unique tires and hardly unlikely to find replacements today. A manufacturing plant was built specially to make them. From, https://acuranews.com/en-US/releases/release-cf0b920cc3f9d93fd9ba5d004c34ca4f-1992-acura-nsx-introduction
No Surprise. My wife’s boss had a 2005 Acura TLX. Other than maintenance, after 335K miles it needed only an alternator and a pair of half shafts. He was a very high priced attorney who traveled all over the state. I finally convinced him to trade it up for a new one because he got his money’s worth and it would not…

But horses are fully autonomous! They always find their way home. Cars are not quite there yet.
Autopilot is a work in progress and pretty impressive but not without shortcomings. Can you name an automaker who is doing better? One that is rolling out updates almost monthly?
Um, still living the past. They have made great improvements and they are getting better every day.
True that. I started selling selling heavy trucks in 1988 until I retired in 2009. They have made huge strides in reducing emissions. But they have come at a big cost. The changes made in the last decade have seen diminishing returns. I’m not sure much of it has made an impact but the price of heavy trucks has gone up…
“It seems completely inevitable that Tesla will eventually introduce proper model years but they haven’t done so yet. That’s when we’ll know Tesla has really made it.”
I pay an additional $80 per year tacked on to my registration fee for owning an EV.
How exactly? Do you understand that a big portion of what you pay for gasoline is for state and federal taxes? Or maybe you weren’t aware.
Meh. You get used to it. So they say.
Sounds like sour grapes to me.
