Another reason to like stainless - easy to replace.
We bought a home that included a kitchen with SS appliances. When the dishwasher died, there were many upgrade choices from many manufacturers. Same with the fridge. I hate to think what we would have done if we had some proprietary GE profile finish.

It’s largely at the discretion of the local troop leaders. Way back in the 1990s we had openly gay scouts in our troop. A big deal was never made of it. Technically the leaders were breaking the rules but what was the BSA going to do, fire the unpaid volunteers? If atheists want to join the scouts they should approach…
