People forget. Nominally, a MLB player will earn way more over a typical career than a comparable NBA or NFL player.
Pace is not the same as length. I can already control the length of time I spend watching baseball myself. I would, however like to watch more baseball action in that length of time I have allotted to baseball.
MLB is the player friendly league. The contracts are garunteed unlike NFL. I don’t have a problem with them asking pitchers to just PITCH THE BALL. Seriously, count 20 seconds. There is no reason that shouldn’t be long enough.
I watch for people who peel a banana this way and then avoid them like the plague. Everyone I have ever seen peel a banana this way is a contrarian and a know it all. Please don’t stop though. It is a useful nonverbal cue for me.
