Gross. I’ll pass.

Doesn’t it seem POSSIBLE that this is something directed at him by scientology?

Season tix all 57 years in our family...this is a ball they presented to us with my grandfather’s first initial.

My accountant laughed at me when I sold all my stock and invested in folding tables and upstate New York based emergency rooms. WHO’S LAUGHING NOW?

There are just too many people on LPotL. They’re all shouting over each other and doing goofy voices and laughing really loudly and it’s just an aural assault. I like true crime with a humorous twist, but it’s got to be two hosts... or maybe three but only if one of them is a woman. (I really like Small Town Murder,

I think that everything you mentioned is what bothers me. To me the three hosts are just bro dawg meatheads who don’t have any respect for the things they are talking about. You can laugh about things, and still be respectful, but they don’t do that. After a couple episodes I’ve just stopped trying.

LPotL can occasionally be very funny, but you have to be willing to take a lot of swings-and-misses, poor research, South Park-inspired imitations, malapropism and questionable belief in conspiracies. There is more than a little casual homophobia as well. I find myself deleting quite a few of the episodes that I start.

I love true crime, but I can’t stand last podcast on the left. That said, I love the entire Norse black metal church burning and murder story, and so if you’re interested in that definitely read Lords of Chaos and watch Until the Light Takes Us.

It’s one of my favorite movies, but there’s no way Miller’s Crossing is more famous than The Usual Suspects.

“[In Texas] Trump won the support of 60 percent of white female college graduates, 75 percent of white, noncollege-educated women, 65 percent of white college-graduate men, and 76 percent of white, noncollege-educated men.”

Too many. But all of the ones I know have given up trying to defend him at least.

all you had to do is read past the second paragraph

I love the Muppets Christmas Carol. I particularly like the fact that they make it funny whilst staying pretty faithful to the original, especially using emphasis to turn one particular Dickens’ line into the funniest thing in the movie: “Tiny Tim, WHO DID NOT DIE...” And Caine brilliantly plays it absolutely

We’ll just have to make do with the wonderful catalog of music we already have during the 6 months to a year he takes off, or try to replicate the feeling his music gives us by drinking a room-temperature can of Canada Dry glass of milk that has been left open out on the counter all day.

I think the argument is that the police as they are currently, are part of the reason people are getting “murdered or screwed,” so giving them a $95 million academy while the entire city is having money issues makes no sense. Closing schools and skimping on education/training so that police officers get a pool is a

Also the makers of that knew exactly what they were doing every time they made a connection with confirmed abusers and Bryan Singer. It was so pointed but just vague enough.

As it happens I just watched the documentary by Amy Berg “An Open Secret” yesterday. Marty Weiss features as does Corey (although I think it was archive interview footage rather than directly participating in this documentary). The producers could never get distribution for the film. No one in Hollywood wanted to
