It’s partially performative fear. They feel like their racism isn’t so bad if they can claim it’s all because they’re terrified.

I mean, he has a point. In this shot it does look pretty crowded.

I used to live 10 minutes away from the airport. It was a really nice place to live and fly from, which I suspect will change. I’m assuming the victims are being taken to the hospital where I had my daughter, which makes me sad because that’s a good memory. They’re in good hands, at least, if that’s the case.

It is a shitshow right now. Folks on the tarmac, authorities trying to get everyone to shelter. I live here and FLL was one of the more pleasant airports to fly into and out of. I suspect that’s about to change for the worse for years to come.

Young populations across the world are a symptom of low education, unequal rights, and lack of reproductive freedom for women. We can only hope it leads to improvements.

i hope so too, but i’m reminded of how many people thought bigotry was dying off in the US until we had our last election (well throughout the campaigns really). but hopefully these awesome women will usher in the changes they deserve!

stopped watching last year when PC Principal was introduced. felt like they were less objective, and in a really bitter, unpalatable way that wasn’t as approachable as previous seasons.

The assholes that loudly mocked the idea of caring about anything suddenly care about political outcomes? What happened to both candidates being equally bad and nothing ever matters, guys?
