yeah also he had a reason (not an excuse, but a reason) for being spoiled and shit - he had an asshole POS father, so there was actual context for him sucking vs. just “Oh was he a jerky little kid and so he got cursed.” His character made much more sense and was way more human than Animated!Beast.
