...but he’d need 5 of them.

I had the 9-3 Vector sedan version of this car with the same gearbox and motor. It was a lot of fun to drive for a mid-size sedan, and perfectly reliable. I imagine the wagon version would be similar. Nice price.

This is the most spot-on list I have ever seen in the 15+ years I’ve been visiting this site.

The combined engine and exhaust noise is toneless, droning and unpleasant, and the less of it I hear, the better.

Saying any complex, high-pressure engine (especially one requiring piston-cooling jets) is going to be “reliable” is a stretch. There’s a reason large-displacement engines are still preferred... all else being equial, a less complex engine that isn’t stressed is one that will last longer. It’s just physics.

Anyone with a brain, maybe? Better interior, better towing, better resale, better looks... should I keep going?

I recall seeing this ad when it originally aired, and it instantly became my favorite commercial and made me love cars. Two years later, I went to college and earned a degree in advertising. Today, I write ad copy for a living and have owned upwards of 30 vehicles. And it was all because of one moment when:

I guess when you’re not sure if you have what it takes to compete, it’s better you don’t even try (said no successful company ever).

Sorry, but this is 100% the WRONG take, Erin. I mean, Jalopnik is always left-of-center when it comes to anything remotely political, but let’s be real... we don’t need unfriendly, human-rights-violating countries owning anything over here.

Nobody cares.

Welcome to, I don’t know, what LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE HAS BEEN SAYING FOR A DECADE. Electric cars are great, but the introduce as many problems as they solve. We need to stop ignoring those issues in our quest to transition everyone and everything to electric. Hiding or glossing over problems isn’t the way to gain

This is the correct answer. Viggens are awesome, but not modded ones... you can tell the wheels are the wrong size, and the “tune” could end up causing all kinds of issues. Hold out for a stock one for this kind of money.

The best things this SUV has going for it is how it looks in TRD form yet... no pictures? Really?

Don’t be confused... it’s not attractive.

Sorry, but it still looks like a slug... or a bad, previous-gen Mercedes CLA coupe ripoff. Either way, it’s distasteful.

Uh... I think we’re forgetting that one of these two folks was already involved in an affair, and it wasn’t Robach. The fact that Holmes got involved with a producer in a similar fashion may have something to do with the lack of public sympathy for him.

Well, if this is how you normally talk about men, then perhaps this is no surprise.

I just can’t get over the fact that someone actually named an engine “Powerstroke.” I mean, I get it, but man does it make me giggle every single time. And that’s not exactly the reaction you want for a big, serious engine.

I think we’re missing the real story: Stellantis (Jeep, Dodge) has SEVEN vehicles in the top 10, including ties... that’s far and away better than Ford, Chevy, Tesla, or anyone else.
