I’m going to nominate this for the stupidest Gawker Network Article of 2021. It’s up against some tough competition, but the inane whining and vapid rationalizations make a strong case. 

As a former employee of Toys R’ Us for 4 years, I’d just like to say that if there’s not a physical, stand-alone presence, it’s not Toys R’ Us.

The film holds up today, and that says it all... is it the BEST filmmaking? Probably not. But it’s damn entertaining, and still raises as many questions as it answers. I’m ready for the next one.

So, the Matrix update is just a picture of the same poster that has already shown up everywhere on social media? Eh...  okay?

Have one. Driven hard. No repairs whatsoever outside of maintenance. And it arrived with ZERO flaws from the factory (something I can’t say about most cars). Absolutely the most reliable/well-built car I’ve had to-date... and I’ve owned 20-something vehicles so far.

This is so stupid. Being happy for one does not exclude/diminish the other. It’s like reminding your one child how smart s/he is. That doesn’t mean you’re automatically calling the other one dumb.

In fact, the article (in The Atlantic) to which you link points to QAnon as being akin to a new “religion” of its own. Your statement broadly associating it with Christianity is both incorrect…

I hate TikTok as much as the next sane person, but let’s be clear: this kid was just an idiot. 

Seems like all of the reviews are repeating the same thing: “It’s not really a good movie and we’re ashamed to admit it, because we’re totally not supposed to say it’s Chloe Zhao’s fault, so let’s blame it on... Marvel? Or something?”

These guys literally don’t get it.
