This post summarizes the reason I’d probably never trade my Jeep (on our 4th or 5th one now) for a Bronco... all of our Jeeps are manuals—including the ones that are top-spec models. The fact that Ford won’t let you have a top-end model with a manual describes what’s wrong with their strategy.

Very nice. One thing Jeep did right with the Gladiator was to supply tools (in a nice bag) for every bolt you might need to address in order to remove the top, fold the windshield, remove the doors, etc. These aren’t the same kinds of bolts, but either way, I’m glad to see the same kind of attention-to-detail.

Agreed... it’s got the same, horizontal character line and everything. And at least you can get a manual (with the smaller engine), which is something you could never get in a modern Rover.

Kinda, but the lack of a solid front axle or a manual transmission on the higher-output engine kinda dulls my enthusiasm (and yes, I’m a current and former Jeep owner).

They are, but the lack of a manual option with the higher-spec engine is a real let-down, have to be honest.

I was all-in on this new Bronco, until I got to this:

“Unhoused man...”

You had me at “available in a manual.”

We all have different tastes... it’s ok that yours is bad.

Upright... ugh, indeed.

Came here just to see how long it would take to see you say “in short, no, I won’t forgive her” (like every other piece written for this site about any other injustice). Even I was surprised at how fast I found what I came here for.

Nor will they know or care about what his kids are up to, nor will they care about the fact that he’s never done anything but be a politician, nor will they care about his dementia, nor will they care about his gropey-gropes... it’s all fear of the orange man that’s allow him to get anywhere close to the White House.

Have to agree. This blew me away from the very first scene... nothing in the Xbox presentation did that (and I’m an Xbox fan still intended to buy a Series X or Lockhart).

Wait, a vehicle that’s intended just as much for off-road driving (full ROLL cage) as much as on-road driving and which which has a raised suspension accordingly just might roll over in certain instances? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.

Let’s just be real about this... they found ONE in the Pacific Northwest. And it was dead. So, if that means “they’re here!” then yeah, ok. So are lots of other dead animals that can’t hurt you.

Sorry, but Bloodlines 2 (and half of the trailers, really) looked like shit. The characters looks like late-gen Xbox 360 models with poor detail and mechanical movements.

Seems like this is kind of a “duh” thing... I mean, an AWD car without at least that much power is basically just a heavy brick, and that doesn’t say “premium” at all.

why was the guy WITHOUT the gun going after the guy WITH the gun, in the first place? Wouldn’t your normal instinct be to run away? And then once you’re shot, why would you keep coming? Something isn’t right, here.

I’ve unintentionally followed someone after an incident, because they lived near where I lived (and we were both heading home, apparently)... it’s not hard to imagine, since you’re obviously heading in the same direction to start with. Occam’s razor, and all...

It works “correctly” at its intended function, which is to act as a direct input mechanism with the server (thereby avoiding the lag of other controllers, which have to interact with your laptop, etc. first, then Google’s servers). That said, if a platform is “Stadia approved,” then you’d think their controller would
